Edgewood Country Club
Originally a nine-hole golf course and clubhouse located in North Homestead in 1895, Edgewood then moved in 1897 to where the Edgewood Towne Center now exists.
Edgewood Country Club made its third and final move to its current site in Churchill, Pennsylvania in 1922.
Over the past century, the facilities at Edgewood Country Club have evolved and been upgraded with the intention of providing the opportunity for families to enjoy recreational activities, fine and casual dining, and the hope of quality time spent together in a captivating and pleasing atmosphere.
Members are proud of their Donald Ross designed Championship Golf Course - a meticulously maintained, challenging, yet golfer friendly course. Additional recreational amenities include an Olympic sized swimming pool, Har-Tru synthetic clay tennis courts, and three platform tennis courts.
Edgewood Country Club takes pride in creating fond summer memories for member’s children. Children growing up at the club appreciate making friendships at the pool, competing on the swim or tennis teams, or learning to play golf in the junior program. Enjoying July 4th celebrations, playing pool games, and watching fireworks are memories cherished forever.
The Clubhouse features the Donald Ross Grille and Bistro, a Member’s Only Restaurant, and an outdoor dining patio overlooking the golf course with a large fireplace.
Edgewood Country Club also offers premiere banquet facilities in the Eastern Pittsburgh area, with professional service and exceptional food.
These services are available to members and non-members alike for events such as weddings, graduation parties, business meetings and corporate golf outings.
Membership options include full golfing memberships, family memberships, social memberships with limited golfing privileges, and social memberships with the full use of the facility excluding golf.
Churchill residents interested in Edgewood Country Club membership may simply call, stop by, or visit the club’s website.
