Civic Contributions

During the past years, we contributed to Penn State Extension-Garden Table, Pittsburgh Botanical Garden, Grow Pittsburgh, Penn State Extension-Mercy Behavioral Garden, Western PA Conservancy, Phipps Conservatory, and local garden areas.

Community Service

Our club maintains three community gardens and is responsible for an Adopt-A-Highway Litter Control Project.

Dues

Ninety-five dollars ($95.00) per annum, due by July 1.

Checks are made payable to the Churchill Garden Club and sent to Sharon Pedrotti, 3816 Henley Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15235.

Mission Statement

The objective of this organization is to help promote an interest in horticulture; an appreciation of artistic design, and an awareness of ecology and the environment.

Membership

Membership is open to people interested in pursuing the goals of the organization. Although the majority of our members reside in the greater Churchill area, we welcome all interested candidates who share our goals. Meetings are held monthly from September through December; March through June and are followed by a fun activity.

We have approximately 51 members who come from many areas around Pittsburgh. We welcome new members and would be delighted to have you attend a meeting.

If you are interested, please contact Germaine Schumann at germaine.schumann@gmail.com
